Janie reported that in early April the committee met with Larry Wiltshire
from Shenandoah to discuss the seasonal plants for the entrances and the beds
around the community center. Larry
drew up a detailed plan that includes annual plants for seasonal color, as
well as suggestions for enhancing the beds with shrubs and perennial
plantings. A prioritzed plan was
submitted to the Board on May 3. As
yet, approval of the plan has not come from the Board.

Any resident who has an erosion or drainage problem needs to bring it to the
attention of Sylva Southwell. She
will forward the concern to the County inspector, Mr. Brad Butler.

County Supervisor George Schwartz is very interested in solving the erosion
and drainage problems here in Falls Run.
Streets, Sidewalks, Etc.
Sub-Committee:

Peggy reported that the Villa streets are
now paved. There is some
concern about all the debris from the paving that is scattered along the
gutters.

Peggy sent a follow-up e-mail to Koger Management asking if any of the road
and sidewalk defects listed in her report have been addressed.

Work continues in and around the SWM ponds.
The bonds will not be released until the County is satisfied that the
ponds and surrounding areas are stabilized.
·
Standing water in the SWM dry ponds are a concern because of the fear of
West Nile Virus.
