Modifications Committee Meeting Minutes for 5/13/09

The Modifications Committee met on Wednesday at 10 AM.  Members present were Nancy Arnn, Joan Bitely, Bill Chance, Jim Eppes and Shirley Sommer.  Also present were Don Horan, liaison to the BOD, Jack Mounts and Tom Whalen, both members of the BOD.  Applicants present were Mr. & Mrs. Keane, Mr. & Mrs. Buford, Mr. Charity and Mrs. Balducci.

Other Activity

The home site inspection on April 21 resulted in 89 violation letters being sent by the property mgr.  It was noted in the letter if they were cited for the same violation in July, 2008.

Nancy Arnn will revisit 320 Bridgewater to see if their #3 lawn letter was an error.

Debbie Sutton will prepare a letter to address strip violations only so that we have them available.

For future inspections committee members were asked to use 1, 2, 3, & 4 to describe lawns.

Pre-Sale Inspection Team training, by Susan Manch ofArmstrong, was held on April 24.

At #4 Ashland the glider was removed and the wrought iron table and chairs moved to 10' from walk.

Joan Bitely volunteered to prepare standards for assessing the retaining walls and railings.

The meeting adjourned at 10:45 AM.
