Charter for the Finance Committee
of the
Falls Run Community Association Board of Directors
The Finance Committee shall support the Falls Run Community Association Board of Directors, in particular the Treasurer of the Board of Directors, by performing the following tasks:
· review monthly statements provided by the management contractor for accuracy, conformity to budget, and legitimacy of entries,
· work with management contractor to improve understandability and utility of financial records, statements, and reports,
· perform a monthly review of Community Center accounts maintained by the Activities Director,
· participate in, with other appropriate committees, contracting activity to ensure that sound competitive purchasing procedures are used,
· review and monitor all existing contracts from a financial perspective,
· advise and assist the management contractor in preparing a draft annual budget for timely submission to the Board of Directors,
· review insurance policies for adequacy,
· keep the Board of Directors informed of financial status of the Falls Run Community Association, and
· perform other financial tasks and analyses as directed by the Board of Directors.
