Covenants Committee

Charter

The Covenants Committee of the Falls Run Community Association provides to the Board of Directors interpretations of and changes to the Falls Run Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&R’s), By-Laws and other matters referred to the Committee by the Board.  The Covenants Committee also conducts hearings of Falls Run residents in alleged violation of the CC&R’s and By-Laws.

  Mission

1.  Provides ongoing review and interpretation of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&R) and By-Laws of Falls Run, recommending changes to the Board of Directors of the Falls Run Community Association.   Some of the general criteria to be considered during the reviews:

     a. Those items that conflict with other items, either in legal terms or in intent.

     b. Those items not applicable to Falls Run.

     c. Those items that have great negative impact on the ability of the Board of Directors to govern Falls Run.

     d. Those items that have great negative impact on the Falls Run residents.

 2.  On request of the Board of Directors, provides ongoing review of other official Falls Run documents to ensure they comply with the CC&R’s and By-Laws. 

 3.  Conducts hearings, as requested by Falls Run residents, in regard to the enforcement of CC&R’s and By-Laws.  The hearings panel is composed of at least three members of the Covenants Committee.
