COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE MEETING, JUNE 15
Falls
Run Information System (FRIS):
The Com Com reviewed the RFA outlining the FRIS implementation plan.
Significant input was provided by Com Com members. These changes were
to be made to the RFA by Jack and the RFA submitted to Dan and the Board for
the June 21 Board working session.
Falls
Run Communications Survey:
The Com Com agreed to develop a combined survey of the Gazette, Website
and Information Channel (TV runner), one page, front and back.
The Com Com decided to keep the survey to one page to make it easier
for Falls Run residents to complete. The
survey should be submitted to the Board for approval at the July 19 meeting,
if possible, and distributed with the September Gazette. Dan O. suggested that
the survey, when approved by the Com Com and before submittal to the Board, be
tested using sample residents for effectiveness and the ability to obtain the
type of information needed to improve the three media vehicles.
Com
Com agreed to review and comment on Jack’s draft survey, as related to the
inputs from Dan A., Denzil and the survey prepared by the Gazette staff.
The Com Com will discuss this draft survey in detail at the next Com
Com meeting, June 28.
Falls
Run Directory:
The Falls Run Directory
subcommittee produced an Addendum to the Directory in May.
The Addendum, with the current Directory, listed all of the Fall Run
residents, since all of the residences in the Community have been sold.
Com Com discussed when to produce the next Directory, which would
include the Directory issued in September 2005, the May Addendum and any
changes. An RFA will be submitted
to the Board asking for funding and listing three possible dates for issuance
(i.e., September of 2006, end of the year/beginning of 2007, or May 2007).
